This bike is awesome for the price!! I got it November 3rd and I have put over 200 miles on it so far. It got up to 33.5 mph no peddling. It also has cruise control which is awesome. I would set the cruise control when I get to about 30 mph and let go of the throttle and it maintains that speed without using the throttle or peddling. To engage cruise control use the throttle and get up to the speed you want then press the down arrow for a few seconds then release the throttle. I added a g-boom speaker and a disco light to the bike.
great machine, well built, plenty of power, love it !!
The bike is very capable and well made.I enjoy riding it I can get about 32.4 miles an hour top end and just electric maybe 22 miles range. But when I use PAS 2, 40 to 60 mile range.
Need more energy capable battery, higher AH ( 21ah) would help.
Over all excellent ride.
Love the bike but this will be an honest review. First off bike came quickly, in like 4 days. But was delivered to my neighbor's house and was placed up side down near his house. Box was damaged, bike had scratch on rear fender and I had some other minor problems that were mainly worked out. As for the saber itself I really like it. Seems real well built and sturdy. I weigh 250 plus and it takes me up most hills around my house with ease on PAS 2. I live in the country and there are lots of hills. Battery seems to be holding up well. Rode 9 miles the other day on pedal assist and still has according to lcd display still had full battery. I fill that even with my weight I will be able to go at least 30 miles on the country roads. One thing I did notice is that throttle only really runs down the battery. I need the exercise so I will always be using pedal assist. On pedal assist 2 on fairly level roadway my lcd display said I was going 14 mph. That I think is great. Very little effort to maintain. Pedal assist 3 really moved me along at a fast clip. I really don't see needing anything more unless I am on better roadways with less turns. Gears work great, seat is very comfortable and lights are adequate. Assembly was pretty easy, but manual has alot to be desired. I would like to be able to talk in person to a rep concerning some work I had to do on bike. Instead I had to wait for an email that sometimes took a day to receive. But to keep costs down I understand why the company has minimal personal service. All in all the bike is great, manual needs improvement, and service could be quicker. The shipping and damage to carton and bike was not Senadas fault. They did send me a new rear fender real fast after I sent them a picture of damaged fender. If you want a nice sturdy ebike that looks great and can take you up the hills this is the bike for you. Bafang 1000 watt motor was main reason I got this bike. Turns out rest of bike works good to. Also rear rack is really sturdy and nice. Good quality. Thanks senada.
Hey fellas it's been over a year since I last commented and I'll tell you I even rode all last winter and it still runs like new.

Love the bike.
We got a Saber and the Herald and they are great bikes. The Herald was almost too big for my wife but she is 5’4” and the recommendation was 5’6” and up. Nevertheless she loves it! Need to adjust the derailer easy find on YouTube. Would recommend not looking any further but now you won’t regret it!
These bikes are exactly what my parents & I were looking for. Don't settle for anything less than the 1000w motor and 48v controller! This bike was easy to assemble. They even threw in free helmets and bike bags. I test-drove QuietKat bikes and I am glad I went with Senada Bike instead! It's just quiet, just as fast and the breaks are just as good going downhill. It charges faster than what the website says; it took about 2 hours to fully charge the battery when it was at 0% out of the box. The headlight that comes with it works in pitch-black marsh trails at 430am without any problem. The brake light and turn signals are definitely an added bonus. Another great plus is that the battery is keyed and removable. You can't get the battery out without the key; so don't lose the keys! The other added bonus is that the tires aren't quick-release levers, they are the old-fashioned nut and bolt lockdown. Stays charged longer than what the website says; we went about 45 miles and were still at 70% battery with almost all pedal assist. It goes faster than what the website says. I am 110 pounds and my top speed is 35.2 mph going full throttle; my dad is 200 pounds and his max speed was 29.7mph going full throttle. I can tell you right now your search is over BUY THE HERALD!!!! My dad and I research over 10 brands of bikes and we are completely 100% satisfied with these bikes. I have ridden the bike for 9/15 days and dad has probably ridden it for 11/15 days. I'll post videos as soon as they Bluetooth off my phone teehee!!!
This bike is awesome for riding trails through the woods with hills and valleys!
My wife and I both bought the Herold bike in March of 22 and we now have 900 miles and we love these bikes. It has improved our life and health greatly we are 65 and ride 30+ miles two to three a week when possible. Great bikes 10 out of 10.
HERALD comes about 95% assembled, there are some final assembly and adjustments needed, like the front wheel, the handlebar, the seat, the pedals, the headlight and the front fender.
About the front fender and the headlight--
The screws and nuts are attached on the front fork, you can remove them, put the fender on and screw them back. Two sets are on both sides of the fork, one set on top is for both the fender and the headlight. Here is a guide video about how to install them:
For any assembly questions, you can download the instructions on our website https://senadabikes.com/pages/tools or contact our support team via firstname.lastname@example.org
The red button below the throttle is to enable/disable the throttle function. When the throttle function is off, code E08 will show on the display, and only PAS mode is functioning; when the throttle function is on, both throttle and PAS are working.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT_9conxWdI
1. Look for the “L” or “R” sign on the axle or wrench flat.
2. The left pedal needs to tighten counterclockwise, the right pedal is tightened clockwise.
3. The thread of the pedal and crank arm needs to be aligned carefully, if the thread is misaligned, the crank will be mangled or cross-threaded.
4. It is suggested to tighten the pedals with a pedal wrench, and use some anti-seize compound.
(1) Long press UP and DOWN button to enter the settings mode; (2) short press M to P02 - Unit of mileage; (3) short press UP and DOWN to change parameters between 0 and 1, 1 is mile; (4) long press M to save the valve; (5) long press UP and DOWN to exit. Here is a guide video of How to change the mileage unit on HERALD:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYoiU3cEIb8
