FAQS

HERALD comes about 95% assembled, there are some final assembly and adjustments needed, like the front wheel, the handlebar, the seat, the pedals, the headlight and the front fender.

About the front fender and the headlight--

The screws and nuts are attached on the front fork, you can remove them, put the fender on and screw them back. Two sets are on both sides of the fork, one set on top is for both the fender and the headlight. Here is a guide video about how to install them:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNii5YfIxEc

For any assembly questions, you can download the instructions on our website https://senadabikes.com/pages/tools or contact our support team via contact@senadabikes.com

The red button below the throttle is to enable/disable the throttle function. When the throttle function is off, code E08 will show on the display, and only PAS mode is functioning; when the throttle function is on, both throttle and PAS are working.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT_9conxWdI

The front wheel hardware are pre-installed on the front hub, a video about how to install the front wheel on SABER/HERALD.

1. Look for the “L” or “R” sign on the axle or wrench flat.

2. The left pedal needs to tighten counterclockwise, the right pedal is tightened clockwise.

3. The thread of the pedal and crank arm needs to be aligned carefully, if the thread is misaligned, the crank will be mangled or cross-threaded.

4. It is suggested to tighten the pedals with a pedal wrench, and use some anti-seize compound.

(1) Long press UP and DOWN button to enter the settings mode;     (2) short press M to P02 - Unit of mileage;     (3) short press UP and DOWN to change parameters between 0 and 1, 1 is mile;    (4) long press M to save the valve;     (5) long press UP and DOWN to exit. Here is a guide video of How to change the mileage unit on SABER:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYoiU3cEIb8

Long press "∧" button near the left handlebar.

SABER/HERALD just has one set of key, it is used to lock/unlock the battery:

Excellent E-Bike

My wife and I received our bikes from Senada and they were packaged well. The assembly was easy and thanks for including all necessary tools. We have ridden the bikes throughout our neighborhood several times and they perform very well. We are very pleased so far. We had one small hiccup as the taillights on both bikes had come off during shipping but their customer service has been good to help us get it resolved. Great Bikes!

A lot of bike for the cost

This is my first EBike and I've been looking at them for a couple of years. As I age walking longer distances to and from hunting spots is hard on worn out knees and many places an ATV isn't practical or legal. Plus a bike allows me some cardio that I wouldn't get otherwise.
Whenever you look at purchasing something that you have no experience with you look at reviews. A lot of folks are buying upper end stuff and a lot of that is based off of advertising on television and name recognition. However Senada bikes have consistently come up positive in conversations with working folk so I decided to go this way. A big thanks to the folks at Senada for answering questions and dealing with my waffling back and forth on models.
The Herald has all the power I hoped it would (probably more than ill ever need but) and is very comfortable to ride.
So glad I went with the step through model. I always pedal while riding and the battery lasting has proven to be great and the bike has handled steep hills, pasture treks, gravel roads, dirt paths, and utility easements with no issues except flat tires. Thorns are definitely an issue but once I figured out a couple of things I've had more success avoiding flats. Whether riding to and from my deer stand, scouting, hauling out game or just trips to the hardware store the bike is helping me to get some exercise as well as to spots off road I need to go to, faster and easier. And I've dropped a few pounds getting a little more exercise as well. No need to spend thousands on an Ebike just because the it is featured on a hunting show.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company and the Herald to any hunters interested in this option.

The Hearld

I BOUGHT A SABER LAST YEAR AND I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY KNEES. SO I THOUGHT A STEP THRU WOULD BE BETTER. SO I BOUGHT THE HEARLD! SO FAR SO GOOD.
